Self Employment and Expenditure for Result Project

State Employment and Expenditure for Result (SEEFOR) Project Funded by World Bank/Edo State Government

Willi Johnson Foundation, in partnership with the Imade Foundation, conducted independent (third-party) monitoring of SEEFOR projects to ensure satisfactory performance through citizens’ inclusion and social accountability in project implementation. The project’s intent was to demonstrate an integrated approach to improving Edo State Employment and Expenditure for Result projects through regular independent monitoring.

The WJF covered the Edo North Senatorial District while monitoring the SEEFOR project and submitted a report to the Edo State Government in partnership with the Imade Foundation. The monitored projects were enriched with data analysis and recommendations on SEEFOR project outcomes, placing greater emphasis on people factors in the delivery of the project. This approach encouraged innovation, strengthened the focus on productive strategies, and promoted continuous quality improvement to reach every intended beneficiary.
