Community Campaign for Cancer Control (C4) Project Funded by LAPO

Willi Johnson Foundation implemented the LAPO C4 Project (2016-2017), aimed at promoting regular uptake of screening services for early detection in Owan East, Owan West, and Estako Local Government Areas. Communities across these three LGAs were mobilized and sensitized on cancer prevention and management. Contact centers for prevention and referral for regular cancer screening were established in each LGA. Over 15,000 individuals were reached through sensitization efforts, and 1,564 individuals were screened for Clinical Breast Examination, Cervical Screening, and Prostate Screening.
